Katie Raissian is an associate editor at Grove Atlantic, where she edits literary fiction and nonfiction. Her authors include Colin Barrett who was a National Book Foundation 5 Under 35 and winner of the Guardian First Book Award; Anna Noyes, author of Goodnight, Beautiful Women, which was a New York Times Editors’ Choice, A Barnes and Noble Discover Great New Writers Selection, and An Indie Next Pick; Bethany Ball, whose debut What to do about the Solomons is forthcoming in April 2017; and Lisa Locascio, author of Jutland Gothic (forthcoming 2018). Katie is the publisher and editor in chief of Stonecutter Journal, an annual magazine of art and literature which focuses on publishing international writers and artists alongside US-based ones. Stonecutter has featured work by John Ashbery, Mark O’Connell, Renee Gladman, Sally Rooney, Newsha Tavakolian, Karl Ove Knausgaard, Ricardo Piglia, and Sarah Wang, to name but a few. It was named one of Dazed and Confused’s “Top Ten Mags to keep you in the know.” Now residing in Queens, Katie is originally from Cork, Ireland.
